Who i'm?

Welcome, my name is Armando Gatto I am a musician (drummer) but also an author and composer.

I joined the world of music in 1975 thanks to the first free radio in my city, in Liguria, created by my father.

I pursued this passion first as a hobby and then as a profession until 1996 I worked for Radio Relax for over 8 years and took care of all the audio production, from station-jingles to all advertising production, including copywriter activity.

Thanks to this experience I learned analogue editing (the one on Revox tape, with scissors and coll) up to using the first digital system for recording on a computer.

My first DAW was SAW Software Audio Workshop with which I had the opportunity to approach non-destructive audio production on Windows-based computers.

In 1991 I attended an stage in Honolulu [Hawaii] at two of the most famous radio stations on the islands: KUMU Radio and KQNG Radio.

In the meantime (1989) I had already created my recording studio where I mainly performed singing jingles.

in 1995 I joined as a drummer in a local band with which we play rock / blues / funky covers around western Liguria but above all the French Riviera.
In 1998 I created my own band, Original Sin and with which we achieved great success thanks to our professional skills.

Rehearsal 3 times a week for 2 intense hours in which sometimes they were spent only to define a final or musical breaks. Dedication, perseverance and professionalism have distinguished us between 1998 and 2002 as one of the best bands in the area.

In 2005 I wrote and produced the soundtracks of some documentaries related to a famous japanese car brand Subaru.
The programs were broadcast on the Nuvolari channel [SKY Television].
